Welcome to the CHUNITHM English Story Translations website!

This is a fan-run project that's currently done by a team of three people in their free time! This is for fun and love of the CHUNITHM story and characters. What started as two separate people making their own translations of their favorite characters from the Surface Metaverse label quickly turned into a trio of people working together to showcase reliable English versions of CHUNITHM's various story labels, all through the magic of the internet.

We hope that this project will cause even more people to love the storytelling and characters in this game-- or even lead people to discover that, yes, CHUNITHM has a story, and it's good!

Our current focus is finishing the Surface Metaverse label. Translations are manual and all written in American English translated from Japanese. We are native English speakers with Japanese as a secondary language.

This website only contains Story and Character information. Please see SilentBlue or the JP CHUNITHM wikiwiki for gameplay information. Links to the wikiwiki are provided on each character's page. Information such as titles, stories, and other additional bits of lore are also all originally sourced from there. It's a very valuable resource and is worth checking out!

We also maintain the CHUNITHM Characters Fandom Wiki as supplementary material for the characters, and have each character's page on this website integrated with the Fandom Wiki! This wiki heavily relies on fan contributions, and you can help us! Please go to the FAQ page for more info.

We do not have any affiliation with SEGA or the CHUNITHM team, and we do not own anything except for our translations.

TRANSLATION ROADMAP

HIGH PRIORITY:

Completion of the Surface Metaverse label's Moderate Faction, Bathsheba War, and Farthest End arcs (estimated completion within 2025).
- In addition, also staying current with translations of the newest Surface arc starting from CHUNITHM VERSE.
Completion of the Digital Metaverse label (estimated to begin within 2025, completion unknown).

MODERATE PRIORITY:

Translations of assorted Relation label and Sibyl Spirit Chronicles label characters. These are likely to be done in-between translations for the Surface and Digital Metaverse labels and will have no consistent release schedule.

LOW PRIORITY AND/OR UNDECIDED:

Translations for the GUMIN ☠ DAYS, Genesis Of Destiny (G.O.D), and Animalia labels.
We currently have no interest in translating anything from Irodorimidori. Irodorimidori characters have their own dedicated wiki-- please consult there!

TO-DO LIST

Since this site isn't fully complete due to the Surface and Digital Metaverse labels not being fully translated yet, there are a few more features we aim to implement, or have partially implemented. These will be done ideally in the near future. (If you sign up for our newsletter or join our Discord server, you can get updates as to when these are finished directly to your inbox!)

Finish translating all stories/cards from the "Re:Stage! Prism Step" collaboration (Lena Ishmael, Mirei Shishido, other in-game original characters affiliated with their stories), and making subtitled videos for them.
List all character appearances on each character's story.
Finish adding all character name etymology entries for the Surface Metaverse.
Finish the Surface Metaverse timeline & character relationships chart.
Add all System Voice clips to characters with preexisting pages, and translate them.
Potentially create more reading order guides for all chronological appearances of select characters (we currently have guides for Lotto Twelve and Cainan Melvias). This acts as a shortcut for people to read about their favorite characters easily.
Anything else we find could be beneficial to the website, to understanding the lore/stories, or that we just think is interesting!
