Omega Quintus was a creator god made up of five personalities, called the "God Fist."
That is:
God of Wisdom, Jigakuzen
God of Righteousness, Mezusa
God of Temperance, Makhutaika
God of Love, Jaco
And God of Atrocity, Ohrituri
These five personalities made it possible for Omega Quintus to deliver judgement with the utmost impartiality.
The old humanity that once thrived on this land had been erased. What little intelligent life remained had degenerated so much that it could hardly be compared to the humans of the past, forced into a primitive lifestyle in the wild.
Omega Quintus was a creator god that appeared in the devastated world. Omega Quintus's duty was to give birth to land and life, transforming the Earth into a paradise after the destruction god's departure.
The world was filled with the dust of darkness.
The land had fallen into ruin, and the world was pitch-dark.
Thus, God made light, creating day and night.
The world engulfed in light was called "day," and the darkness "night."
The day was so scorching and bright that each and every monkey on the surface was blinded.
The night shrouded everything, and the monkeys on the surface became lost in a darkness even deeper than before.
God sighed.
Excerpt from the New World Creation "Gospel of Bashinctu," Verse 1, "Origin of Creation — Dawn"
God created the sky.
In order to create the heavens, God blew away all the dust of darkness with its own breath.
As a result of God's breath, the darkness was no more, but the monkeys on the surface were blown away too.
Furthermore, the breath shook the land, and great storms took over the surface for a long time.
God sighed.
Excerpt from the New World Creation "Gospel of Bashinctu," Verse 2, "Origin of Creation — Blue Sky"
God created the land.
God shattered a boulder with a glance, and the fine pebbles poured from the sky one after another.
The monkeys on the surface were struck by the pebbles and suffered in agony.
The pebbles that hit the monkeys shattered into sand that covered the ground.
The monkeys were engulfed by the sandy earth.
God sighed.
Excerpt from the New World Creation "Gospel of Bashinctu," Verse 3, "Origin of Creation — Land"
God created vast waters. The waters were called the "sea."
God washed all of Earth's impurities into the sea, staining the sea black.
Thus, God purified the surface.
However, dark clouds arose from the black sea, and the dark clouds brought about acid rain.
This caused the skin of the monkeys on the surface to melt.
God sighed.
Excerpt from the New World Creation "Gospel of Bashinctu," Verse 4, "Origin of Creation — Dark Sea"
God sowed seeds in the purified land.
The plants needed to grow strong in the young land.
Thus, at God's command to "catch your own food," the plants that sprouted captured the monkeys on the surface and used them as food.
The plants that fed on the monkeys quickly engulfed the surface.
God sighed.
Excerpt from the New World Creation "Gospel of Bashinctu," Verse 5, "Origin of Creation — Sowing"
God considered how to strengthen the day to further promote the growth of the budding plants.
God sought a sun to govern the days on Earth.
God opened a large hole in the high heavens, allowing stronger sunlight to reach the Earth.
The monkeys on the surface basked in the strong sunlight and burned up.
God sighed.
Excerpt from the New World Creation "Gospel of Bashinctu," Verse 6, "Origin of Creation — Sun"
God considered how to strengthen the night to give the plants covering the surface time to rest.
God sought a "moon" in the sky and "stars" to bring light to the night and govern the nights on Earth.
Stars came to twinkle in the night sky one after another thanks to God's power.
The increasing stars eventually fell from the sky, raining onto the surface and creating holes.
The monkeys on the surface ran frantically from the countless stars falling from the sky.
God sighed.
Excerpt from the New World Creation "Gospel of Bashinctu," Verse 7, "Origin of Creation — Stars"
God created birds and fish.
God blessed them so that the foolish monkeys on the surface would not hunt them to extinction.
"Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the water and land. Then hunt, before the monkeys can hunt you."
Thus, the unruly fish and birds chased after the monkeys on the surface, and they were pecked at and swallowed up.
God sighed.
Excerpt from the New World Creation "Gospel of Bashinctu," Verse 8, "Origin of Creation — Feeding"
God created beasts and livestock. Then, at last, God created paragons of humanity in its own image.
God blessed the Paragons thus:
"Be fruitful. Multiply. Fill the earth and subdue it. Have dominion over all living things."
The efforts of the Paragons that God created erased the monkeys from the surface.
At last, God's desired world was complete.
God sighed in relief.
Excerpt from the New World Creation "Gospel of Bashinctu," Verse 9, "Origin of Creation — All The Universe"
God finished everything and left its work to rest.
Thanks to God and the Paragons created in its image, Earth had become a paradise.
God was satisfied with this and returned to the cosmos to slumber, watching over the Paragons from afar.
The land, consecrated by God, evolved into an abundant paradise of greenery and pure, flowing water at the hands of the Paragons.
Thus began the history of the Paragons' eternal paradise.
Excerpt from the New World Creation "Gospel of Bashinctu," Verse 10, "Origin of Creation — Creation of the World"
Omega Quintus's story directly parodies the Book of Genesis, so I tried to match phrasing where it was appropriate, e.g. "be fruitful and multiply." The names of the five personalities and Bashinctu don't have any obvious namesakes, so I did my best with the romanizations.
This story is the first instance of the term 真人 (shinjin, "true human"), translated here as "Paragon." It won't be until Paradise that it's elaborated on, so this is the earliest precursor to the Surface storyline.
